how beautiful is a marble cake! it’s like all the aesthetics of a fussier frosted cake, with the simplicity of a one-bowl (plus one for mixing the other colour) recipe. I actually think this might be as complicated as a frosted cake, since you want the layers to mix and intertwine, but not do it so much that it becomes a uniform brown cake.
this cake came out real pretty – but I wanted it slightly more buttery and moist so I’ll share a recipe with you another time when I’ve finished testing!
